Only individuals licensed under Article 137-A may practice as or use the title registered pharmacy technician; practice must be under the direct, personal supervision of a licensed pharmacist in a registered pharmacy. Applicants file Form 1 with the $175 fee. Per the Department's FAQs, maintaining national certification is not required for registration renewal.
